im here just to update about the last meeting.
our last meeting is our AGM meeting.

Meeting on the 19/6/09!

There will be a meeting this friday on the 19th of jun!!

Morning session u will be playing with dough~! All you have to bring is a container to keep your dough...
If your wondering what do i mean by "playing with dough" its mainly we will be supplying u the dough and YOU will be using it to create whatever u like and take it back let it dry then paint it~
[ Dough cant be eaten actually is can its just supreme salty]

Afternoon sessions~! u will be handling some type of handcraft which concerns making a paper into a type of decorative box~ you will be told what to do on the day itself~
YOU HAVE TO BRING!! :
-Scissors
-Gum
-Decorative items (eg. colour paper and etc)

Morning session SHOULD be in the bilik masakan

Form 5's , Form 4's and Form 3's had a chance to experience flower arranging and experiment with it last week~ The flowers were provided however~! the members were suppose to bring mugs to place their flowers in~ unfortunately~ hal ini tak jadi kerana murid kita yang banyak nenek~ So they had to go dig a empty plastic bottle from where ever they can find and cut it into half to use OR~! $.$!! Get FINED~!!!

The form 1's and form 2's~~ was in the Bilik Masakan decorating cupcakes~~~! They were supplied with cupcakes while they had to bring their own decorating items~ most of them shared~ And by the end they produced colorful COLORFUL! cupcakes~ below are the pictures of samples of decorating items and the members ''colouring'' their cupcakes~

6th MARCH 2009!
=Egg Painting=

Today art club was having fun with eggs and poster paint~! We got the idea from Easter day (I know Easter day is still very far away).. This week the morning section was in 5 Pintar while Afternoon section was in 5 Terampil(my class~! hopefully its not dirty or my monitor is gonna kill me). However unlike last week, this week both the afternoon and morning section was doing the same thing that is Egg painting~!

As usual the attendence were taken by the form reps (form reps remember to pass the attendence to ally pls).After the attendence were taken the eggs were distributed. Each girl was given 1 egg (the egg were boiled yesterday in the Bilik Masakan) and I was the easter bunny giving out eggs (the reason why i dint had bunny ears and a tail is because my ears and tail were chopped off when I was sleeping xD). After everybody had coved their tables with newspaper the painting begain some started off rather bad because some of them dint know how to control the paint colour from coming off.

Lets just stare at the pictures because I am out of word to say ^^ll. Oh yeah I place all the pictures of the eggs in the picture slide because if i placed the picture 1 by 1 this post will take up 1 whole page xD.

EASTER DAY IS COMING!!
The day the Easter bunny goes around hiding eggs..
(he is just too free i guess)
Anyways for our next meeting which will be held on the 6th of march.

-Boiled eggs (sorry nt chocolate eggs) will be provided
-But! if possible bring your own postal paint thank you ^^

basketball court - attendance

Ok Yet another hot friday and we had our 4th art club meeting of the year ^^
Just like last week we had the attendance taking at the basketball court and it was like so very hot so everybody crowded at the small shade provided by the trees ^^ ah nature at its best xD
Anyways the club was split into 2 groups mainly the morning section (consist of from 3~ form 5) and the afternoon section (form1 and form 2). Oh yes and i apologize for the inconvenience caused to the morning section because u had to move around the place. We will be more organized the next meeting...

Morning section(marble painting)

Ok the morning section was kind of hectic at the start mainly because they had to move from science garden to the bio lab(was already taken by science and math society) to the chemi lab(also taken up but i am not sure by who) and finally settled at the physic lab.

The members were cooperative ^^ll at less nobody scolded me for the inconvenience caused earlier. On to what we did today~! We were suppose to do marble painting which is mainly using a bucket filled with water and oil paint. Unfortunately we were lacking of materials so everybody had to share~~ ^^ll (sorry about that) there were 3 buckets means 1 bucket for each table and we only had 4 tins of can (white,blue,red and yellow).

The Activity Finally Begin~!!

After everybody had settles down~ tables covered with newspaper(to avoid any damage to the tables and to save all the AJK's head from being chopped off). Our President decided to show a demo on how marble painting is done~ This! is interesting XD because both our president (Fang Jun Twei) and secretary (Allyson Koay) decided to sacrificed their fingers!!! to dip it into oil paint (stinky and sticky oil paint!!) just to show how it was done~~ well they had to use thier fingers because at that moment we dint get our sticks yet (we need sticks to dip into the oil paint and drip the paint onto the water).

After the demo by our excellent president and secretary~ The members started to do their own marble painting~ Some were really nice and we took some examples for you to see xD

Afternoon section!!( Carving~~)

While the morning section was at the Physics lab enjoying the marble painting the afternoon section were gathered at 5 Pintar do to Carving on paper clay~! I wasn't there during the start so not very sure how they were organised the afternoon sections were being supervised by the vice president~ I dint ask her how it was yet XD . But when i entered the class it seems to be fine tho they were all busy making a mess and doing their carving XD. Its ok as long as they dont hurt them self~

It seems (from my observation correct me if i am wrong) that the members started by drawing something onto the paper clay (more or less a guide line for them) After that some I noticed were trying to make their paper clay surface smooth?
